I had a business lunch and ordered the italian classic Aligo e olio a simple but excellent course. My spagetti arrived uncooked and tasting og flour - some spagetti was fused together and it wqs drenched in oil. No garlic or chillis to be seen. A most unsatisfactory lunch and i hate to think how anything more complicated would have turned out. I shall never set foot in that restuarant again.

This is the second time I have visited this restaurant recently and I refuse to go near them again. My husband selected it as in the past (and we have eaten there quite a few times) we have had a decent meals but I must admit I dreaded going this time because it was latish when we last visited and it showed in all sorts of little ways. This time it was the same. It was 2.30 and I just knew they did not want us there. In your face service, first course delivered, whisked away and second course plopped down. Tables were cleared noisely with the staff disappearing through the front door as if there was a fire. My pasta was barely cooked (loads of edges raw and horrible to eat and had to leave them to the side). We had two courses each and a bottle of wine (£80). We left there at 3.10! Just before we left a couple of people arrived but they were told pretty brutally that 'We're closed mate'(I don't know where the italian accent went) and were ushered out. They looked extremely embarrassed.

Never ever again. A perfectly pleasant day ruined.
