Hiro is simply superb Chinese food. Fresh, clean tasting, and full of flavour. This is certainly not your average gunky sauce Chinese take away!

I thought this restaurant was a really pleasant surprise. We were looking for a place to eat some dumplings on Chinese New Year's Day, and happened to find Hiro. The food was great -- almost llke my mother's home cooking! Not too salty or full of msg. We ate all the varieties of dumplings, as well as the black pepper beef with broccoli and jumbo prawns with asparagus. It was delicious.

I've never written an online review before, but feel compelled to as the review above is misleading. I regularly eat at Hiro. The food is consistently excellent and as such represents good value. It's low on MSG which helps (me anyway) with dehydration the following morning, without compromising on taste. I've probably sampled over 100 Chinese eateries in the UK over the last 20 years. This is one of the best, irrespective of price bracket.

It is a family-run restaurant. The cleaningness is far beyond the least acceptable standard.
