I totally agree with the last review that the one before sounds suspicious! It cannot be the same place I ate at! Staff were attentive & friendly and food was hot & delicious! We ate lots and had soft drinks & coffee and the bill only came to £30! Amazing value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The other 'reviews' smell very suspicious to me. I have lived in Muswell Hill for 5 years and have been here many times -bringing friends and family on return. I have always received wonderful service which was charming and very efficient. The food is wonderful-fresh, tasty and well worth the visi

Horrible place and aggressive, rude, vicious staffs
We went there with my husband and 2 kids, it was the biggest mistake of our life.
it took them 45 minutes to serve us just drinks, the food arrived after another 30 minutes, cold, smelly and disgusting, was not cooked at all
my little son just shouted that he just seen a mice run from the toilet to kithcen
the waiters and the chef at the grill all got quite angry, became seriously aggressive,
my husband was about to call the police while we were leaving
i had to protect my kids by taking them to my side because i felt like they would hit us
do not ever go there

Went in with two others, one child, one adult,we all had chicken dishes (shish). The chicken was undercooked in all 3 dishes, the rice overcooked and tasted very buttery, and as it turned out,we paid £25 for the privilege of getting severe food poisoning.I am stunned at the great reviews this place has had on here,I for one will recommend people NOT going there. The staff were nice, but that does not make up for serving pink undercooked chicken that was raw in places.I think I'll go vegetarian after this, seriously.

North London has plenty of Ocabasi charcoal grills. The connoisseur may rate others higher, but Kilim is as good as any that I have found. The food is tasty and freshly prepared. Even the donner kebab is properly made (none of that pre-formed meat, we're talking real lamb here) and worth ordering. Portions are generous. The service is friendly and attentive.

While some might be put off by the kitsch Aladin's cave décor, many residents of N10 are not. Even on a night when many other restaurants are ghost towns, the Kilim always has customers.

Take away is available, but as meals take between 10 and 20 minutes to prepare, call ahead with your order if you're just around the corner. (Or have a swift pint at the John Logie Baird - a few doors down.)

Would like to write a quick note about this restaurant. It is fantastic value and so tasty. The setting is small and cosy and you get a real feel for turkey. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. There is also the bonus of take away or delivery which I must say I use very often. Love it there !!
