Existing as both a restaurant and takeaway, Faulkner’s has had some ups and downs in its time but thanks to consistency it often manages to hit high on top F+C lists – just like ours. It may not be the most beautiful environment to enjoy the fish in batter, but wow, that batter, yum. And yum again.

Apparently Faulkners was once renowned for having some of the best fish and chips around. Something must have changed because although the feast we were given was fine, it certainly wasn't anything to rave about.
