This was our first visit, from the moment we walked in through the Door, we were made most Welcome and we felt at Home right away.
The staff were very Friendly and Attentive with out being obtrusive.
The Food was Excellant Good size portions and Presented well, The staff went out of their way to oblige us with any Requests we had.
Unlike many Restaurants we were not Rushed at all between courses and the whole evening was very Relaxing.
The Prices we thought were very Reasonable.
We willbe going there again, and in Fact we think this will be our Favourite Restuarant from now on.
We will most certainly Recomend it to anyone who wants a Bloody Good Restuarant to go to.
Cant wait to go there again, But suggest you Book well in Advance as its gets packed
very Early. The only Downside i can say is the Parking, its in side roads most of which are Yellow Lines.
Otherwise a perfect place to Go.

Seems a nice place on the surface...‎ but owner hid in the corner...
We were warned about how long service could take but we did not heed the advice. It took 1 hour for our main course to arrive however this was not the main issue. 1) As we all know fresh pasta should only take a couple of minutes to cook 2) One dish contained packeted pasta and to top it all was still not cooked!!! And we are not talking al dente!! 3) This we could possibly forgive, but it was how the situation was handled. There was no apology forth coming, we were told the owner/manager was not at the restuarent. On leaving we were informed outside by staff that he was sitting in the restuarant the entire time (in Chef whites) but could clearly not face his customers and defend his his food, that speaks volumes.

Sloppy service with over-priced mediocre food.
Bread is not complementary as one would expect in any decent restaurant (in fact it was £4.70 which I discovered only when I looked at the bill). The wine arrived at the table already opened, twice ( a big no no in any good restaurant) and then the waiting staff were reluctant to let me try the wine before pouring. One starter - a not inexpensive seafood platter was made up of such delights as cheap prawns and a lump of tinned tuna with a bit of red onion on top along with a tiny bowl of what seemed to be Coleman's seafood sauce! Pretty feeble. Then the main course - two very meagre and uninteresting beef medallions(costing nearly £18) were just luke-warm.
Very disappointing, low quality food and indifferent service combined with a fairly substantial bill. Not recommended.

Took a chance going here as it's quite new and could not find any previous reviews and what an amazing place, really genuinely Italian, staff attentive, nothing was too much trouble, excellent varied menu/wine list - surroundings - thought I was actually on holiday in Italy - could not fault any aspect - would highly recommend and already looking for an excuse to return soon. Well done to all the staff who looked after my party of 5 on 14/11/08!! Don't be put off that this restaurant is in busy Homesdale Road either - it' an absolute haven!!
