Masgouf

I went with an Arab friend who is new to the UK. The place was full so we had to eat downstairs where the smell of the toilet was very bad. The food was OK but the bill was very expensive they charged for a meal we never had and refused to take it off the bill. I felt cheated and angry. My Arab friend even commented on the exorbitant price. The service was poor. I will never ever go again or recommend it to anyone.

Me and my husband went there with our baby...We felt very unwelcomed and I think they didn't like the fact we came with a baby and a push chair altough the place was empty....I won't go there ever again for sure but I think they really need to work on there services and the waiter or the manager was very rude the moment we entered the resturant till we went out..We realy were sfraid of talking with him or he will hit us 'that's what we thought'..and they charge a reasonable price for the quality of the food but definitly not the quantity

The food was fine but they charged us 12% for a service that made us feel insulted. we were 3 and the first shock was when the waiter brought a can of Coke and put it on the edge of the table without asking who ordered it. Second he brought the starter at the same time he brought the main course. We never heard a "sorry" nor "thank you" word. When I paid by the debit card it didn't go through at the begining, so they called the same person who "was supposed" to serve us, and he did the proccess without saying a single word. We felt unwelcomed and we've been treated much better in a JUNK food restaurant.

We had a discrepancy with our bill in that mixed starters for 16 people came to £20 a head (!!!), that is before the main meals with only water to drink. We considered this very expensive for a starter even by Knightsbridge standards and the restaurant failed to be sympathetic, reasonable and refused to reach a compromise with us. We paid our bill but unfortunately it means that even though we enjoyed the food we will not return again.

Being an Iraqi living in the UK and visited by another Iraqi who eaten any traditional food for a while so I took him to this well known restaurant as I used to dine in their other branch in Edgware Road, but for y shock the experience was very embarrassing to me as I highly recommended the place to my guest.
The place is very over priced compared to its on sister restaurant on Edgware Road and also compared to any classy restaurant. The service was not so good and late.
All in all it was not a nice experience and would not go back again nor recommend the place to anyone.

Convenient location steps from the Berkeley Hotel. Marinated chicken cubes fresh and delicious. Fast and corteous service, clean and modern decor. Will return.

We regularly visit this resturant,it provides very good, high quality food,a bit pricy though comparing with similar resturant.

i been to this place three times and each time they brought us things that we never asked for and claimed they were complimentary but each time i noticed the priceof the fish had gone up.The food is good but make sure u only pay for what u ordered and if u order the masgouf fish ask how much it is beforehand or u might get a nasty surrprise when u see your bill!
