We had a meal at Elche about one year ago and since then they have refurbished the outside facia with a more posh black marble type of boarding. We were disappointed to be served by non spanish waiting staff and were told that the ower Spanish himself was working in the kitchen but we never saw his face. Elche advertises as a Spanish restaurant but we hardly felt we were eating spanish food. Finally the rice pudding was rather like a small pot of boiled rice with sugar. May be they have improved since then. Good luck.
