The worst restarant iv been to. Bad service and we were only two tables. The waiters argue with every thing you question concerning the food and drink. It's not like its the first Iranian restarant Iv been too. Don't recommend it al all. If I could give it a 0 I would.

I was in London for a family reunion last June 2009. We were in Richmond for the day and discover Saffron. Loved the food especially the Zereshk Polow. Been back in Canada and have yet to find an Iranian restaurant that cooks as good as Saffron's. Service was a bit slow, however the ambience of the restaurant is homely. Will definitely go back on my next trip back.

I live in the area and enjoy going to saffron once or twice every month. The food is consistently very good. You won't find many better restaurants that provide you with a taste of iran. 4 out of 5 times you go there i can promise the food will be great, unless you are extremely unlucky.

This was the first time i have gone there, and it wont be my last. I had kebab Barg which was delicious, and the starters I had (Maast o mooseer, bread, cookoo sabzi) were also great! I highly recommend it (also, as i live in Twickenham it means i dont need to go into London to get great persian food)

We went there for iranian new year last night. The food was good although a bit dry but the service was exceptionally unfriendly, ignorant, slow and unprofessional. If you are looking for a pleasant athmosphere I would suggest you go somewhere else.

I have gone there a few times. It is a lovely quiet place. Their starters are great. I really recommend their "Kookoo sabzi" for starter. Their Doogh is wonderful. , but best of all is their main course. They have one of the most delicious "baaghaali polo ba mahicheh" in London. It is fantastic. I have also tried their chicken kebab and it is very nice. Moreover they serve drink (I hate Iranian restaurants which don't allow drinks).

Very disappointing.
The fish for my wife was good. The starter and bread was good.
However the main reason we went was for the kebab.
The lamb koofteh kebab was oily and very poor. The chicken kebab was dry. So much for juicy pieces of kebab!
The Doogh(yogurt drink) had no herbs and the yogurt had gone bad.
The witresses could not wait to clear the tables.
Give it a miss. We shall try Alounak next time.
