We were hesitant after reading many of the reviews.
They were completely unfounded.
I must admit that I was ready to do battle with the staff
to fend of high pressure sales or deal with bad service -
but EVERYONE was very friendly, the food was great, the wine fantastic
no pressure, no dramas
Chateau Briande was cooked perfectly, the starters were delicious
who cares if they chare £2 per person for the bread, butters, olives and nuts?
It says it clearly on the menu and website - get over it
and - as we were starving ...it was perfect
Also, they dont whack 12.5% on the bill anymore, thats old news
Would definately go again, and reccomend to friends
