I recently ate at Chili Chutney Waterloo and had one of the BEST Pakistani meals I've ever had. The service was phenomenal and the waitress quickly directed us to some of the most popular items on the menu. We had the chicken biryani which arrived warm and fragrant and tasted heavenly. The keema naan (a traditional naan stuffed with minced lamb) was also a big hit at our table and we had to order extra portions because everyone couldn't get enough. I would highly recommend Chili Chutney to those looking for a luxurious meal with a very reasonable price--there seemed to be something for everyone. They even have fish and chips for those who don't have a taste for Pakistani food. And the view of the London Eye at the Waterloo location can't be beat!

In the past few years, I have visited Chili Chutney on a few occasions since its opening and each time I have been, I have discovered something new about the food or the atmosphere that I love. The staff are always helpful and always friendly. I have tried their traditional english breakfast, their chicken tikka masala, their chicken korma, and numerous other dishes and each time I have had them, they have been excellent, piping hot, and filling. And their express dishes are just as tasty! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a GOOD indian meal and a great experience to go with it.

Your review entry page states 'no ranting'. Yet the review I read of Chilli Chutney sounds like a personal vendetta. It seems to me that the same person has written nasty stuff about the only decent 'fine dining' restaurant on Streatham High Road in many free and unverified review websites purporting to be different people with the sole aim of discreding this excellent restaurant. Unfortunatley all the purportedly different people have the same rant on these websites. I think this is a disgrace and slanderous to say the least. As a local that has frequented Chilli Chutney for over 5 years I can say without doubt that what your reviewer has written is nonsense.

I decided to go to Chilli Chutney on the advice of a friend. We were celebrating a birthday and booked a table for nine. The staff were unhelpful and could barely speak English. The food was cold, the rice came in a puddle of water and the house wine tasted like vinegar. The food was literally inedible!! Out of nine guests only one was happy with their food (and she was seven months pregnant) It spoilt my friends birthday - I would never eat here again!!! :-(
