Eastern Eye Balti House

I have been going to this restaurant for many years...superb starters and main courses.
The only issue that prevents me from giving this friendly,well-run restaurant full marks, is the lack of home-made desserts - not a fan of those commercial,frozen,pre-packed ice creams etc. What`s wrong with good old-fashioned Ras Malai and Gulab?!
I`ll take this point up with them when I`m next in...or if you`re in agreement,speak to the proprietor who is always around. Hope to see you there, soon. Bon Appetit!

Four of us ate at Eastern Eye 4/10/09,really excellent food,four courses 2 bottles of wine 44.00,one of the best eating places in Brick Lane.

eastern eye is the best restaurant in brick lane! tried them all and this is the best. marvellous food and good atmosphere, very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble for them.go and try it!

Great restaurant - great food and great service.
I've been to this restuarant a few times and am going again tonight with a group of friends as the 4 times I have been before they are consistently great.
Shame you can't say the same about other restaurants on Brick Lane.
For a guaranteed quality evening in a wonderful part of London.....go to the Eastern Eye.... :)))

eastern eye is a really nice welcoming resturaunt with quality service and mouth watering indian dishes and in my point of veiw this is the best indian resturant in bricklane so why not try it out. from George
