Excellent food both for veg and non veg, probably the best Indian in the area. Try their chilli mushrooms, chicken masala or chicken masala. Hmmmmmm I am getting hungry just thinking about it!!

I really enjoy eating at Boulevard Club. The food and ambience is really nice. The portions are a big too. My favourite dish is Chilli Paneer and Garlic Nan, however all the other dishes are really tasty too. It is very homely, family orientated but yet social. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Caters for vegetarians as well as non veg. I would definitely recommend it.

I was there last week Saturday and it's my fourth time now. On all 4 occassions the food and service has been superb. A "must try" is the new Chilli Garlic Mushroom dish!!...there's this and other "unique" dishes too, which makes this place stand out against its competitors. The athmosphere is very accomodating especially with the recent refurb and the manager always makes it a point to come over to make sure you're satisfied. On the whole, I admire places which continually strive to impress which is why I am now a regular. Unless you try it, you'll not know.

The Boulevard is an amazing restaurant and bar! The staff are very attentive and the food was excellent! I was also impressed with the size of the portions. Amazing selection of food and wine to choose from and not over priced. The manager (Kalps)was brilliant and his main aim was to ensure we had a great time. I'll definitely be returning and thank you so much!

Just been to the Boulevard club having been told that the ownership has changed and had a wonderful INDO-AFRICAN fusion meal.
It is unusual from the usual Indian meal in that you wont get your madras or korma bur a proper indian meal. The sign of a good indian restaurant is when you go in and see lots of asians coming to dine.
It has just been redocrated and is much brighter.
The sevice was excellent and the new owner even had time to come and chat to us.
The garlic mogo was to die for and if you like it hot the mari chicken was excellent the owner even told us we were ordering too much and told us to try the geera chicken next time( for sure i will be going back).
for the main course we had the chicken keema and chicken special(on the bone) and again was excellent. They even made it too our taste- medium. The nan bread was nice and soft.

We did not have any desert as we were totally stuffed! but we did have some traditional indian pan( apparently helps with digestion) it was unusual but nice and sweet.
The beers were nice and cold and went down smoothly with the meal.
We were not overcharged but the owner even let us try a new dish he was thinking of introducing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who reads this review as i have been to quite a lots of restaurants!

We found the Boulevard Club very similar to some similar establishments found across the Capital (i.e North Finchley) and elsewhere.

Food is adequate while the portion sizes are on the small size given the asking price.

The Lamb bhuna was quite oily with very little meat clinging to the bones. Sauce quite tasty though. In contrast the Keema was a better bet although again on the small side. Side dishes ok.

Service was prompt and yes we did get overcharged on the drinks by a few quid!!!!(previous reviews noted. When challenged the bill was reduced.


The decor isn't going to win any accolades being very 80s and quite tired & tatty. With little natural light there is a feeling of claustraphobia. Fine in the evenings after sun-down.

In light of the above I would rate this establishment:

Food is unbelievably good, particularly the lamb chops, mogo, methi keema, masala fish. Have taken many friends there who also love the place. Best times to go are the weekends - the food always seems to be better for some reason! Tends to get fairly busy when big sports matches are on, but they do take bookings. House wine is only wine available in small quantities and is not particularly great, but ok for a small place like this.
Not sure which restaurant the poster below has been to, but having been to this place countless times over the past 2 years since we moved to the area have never been overcharged (not that I can remember anyway).
If you love food, this is the place to go. If you are more interested in plush interiors, don't bother. This place is all about the taste of the food, and although clean and tidy, isn't going to win any awards for interior decorating. Having been to tons of different Indian restaurants over the years, we've found this to be the best we've tasted in London yet.

This has occurred some 3 times over the last couple of months. Staff are very reluctant to give you an itemised bill for drinks orders which can cause an argument when it comes to payment time, especially if additional items have been added.

Make sure that you keep a note of your drinks orders even if your are purchasing food or else you could be paying much more than you expect!!!

A real pity since we hope that this form of malpractice had ceased some time ago.

My friend introduced me to the Boulevard a couple of years. I'd only be used to 'typical' Midlands curry places, so the pub/club ambiance of the Boulevard came as a very pleasant surprise. I can only heap even more praise on the food. The onion bhajis are excellent, as if the chicken jalfrezi. If you're not in the mood for a full meal you can just have a couple of snacks - e.g mini chicken kebabs or onion bahjis - and few beers. The staff are friendly and talkative. All in all, it's everything that's best about pubs combined with everything that's best about curry places. Whenever I'm in London I would never go anywhere else

This is an Indian run pub. If you like Indian food, look past the unattractive exterior. The interior is a bit better, but there is no doubting the quality of the food and the variety of dishes (not just your standard curry house). The smells coming out of the kitchen are unbelievably mouth watering. Prices are acceptable, the wines pleasant and the service friendly and efficient (standard beers are also available). Go in a group (minimum 4) to really sample and appreciate the food available.

I go here on a regular basis and find that it is probably one of the best indian restaurants in the area, wheter with my friends or family its a great local family run business, some dishes are a bit pricey but when you taste it you understand why! Definately recomend the Masala Fish as a starter it is the best I've ever had... def a must if you enjoy indian food in a relaxed atmosphere, big screen, and is def value for money. Can get a little busy if any big football matches are on so do check before you go (unless ur going for football) and if its busy the food can take a little time but definately worth the wait...
