There is no question but that Taste of Raj takes my vote for the top Indian restaurant that I've eaten in in London. The service is impeccable - and they offer a widespread menu list.
Tables are set on either side of a long room, so crowding is not an issue from other patrons. Sunday brunches for £10 offer poppadoms, main course, side dish, rice, and nan, all inclusive. Pricelist in general is very affordable, and they do have takeaway options though no delivery.
Every diner receives sliced oranges, a shot (whiskey for men, baileys for women) and after eight mints after their meal ; not included in the meal price.
Well worth a visit.
