Fantozzi Restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine that aims to bring a little bit of Italy to Southgate. There is also a long wine list and the chef changes the specials monthly to give the customers many different Italian dishes. A recent development to Fantozzi is a small cosy coffee bar open in the morning and afternoon serving Italian coffee, fresh pastries and home made panini's.

Keep your choice simple to pizza and you will be O.K. Anything else is a gamble. Basic acceptable pizza. Don't be adventurous cos the menu isn't up to it, stick to the basics service was erratic with different waiters/ waitresses and some peculiar but not entertaining waiters. It seems like if you are a big party they want you in and out as soon as possible/ quick turnaround. and one waiter was quite overbearing. Not for a long evening, more like basic italian pizza to go go go!!!

This is an amazing Italian restaurant and you can tell in that they are usually fully booked. It has a great family, loud, Italian, busy feel to it and when it is someone's birthday they sing. This isn't a place to take someone hard of hearing or necessarily for a romantic meal but for an authentic Italian night out with great food, I would recommend it. You can also order takeaway pizza from here and it is the best by far. One of our favourite restaurants.
