I came across this wonderful restaurant about 11 years ago when visiting with my wife London. As I'm doing London with 20 students every year I always come back to this perfect place for fine dining at a nice price. Hans Knot University Groningen

A really friendly little Italian, conveniently placed by the Tube. Food was excellent, provided us with table bread and service was kind and attentive. Really enjoyed our meal and they even gave us a bag to takeaway he leftovers my other half couldn't finish. Very lovely. =)

I live in the north of England and am usually disappointed by the high price charged for mediocre food in most London restaurants. This small restaurant is a real gem. I always use it when in London. It seems to be family run. There is a genuine welcoming, intimate atmosphere. There is a wide menu of good quality, well prepared food at reasonable prices. Staff are always helpful and cheerful. A pity that most of these places have disappeared. If you visit it you will not be disappointed.

I was in London, my old hometown, visiting one of my dearest old friends who was staying overnight in the area. After scanning the neighborhood, we came across this great, refreshingly untrendy restaurant and proceeded to be absolutely delighted by everything we ordered. The food was delicious and ungimmicky. Our rocket and tomato salad had generous shavings of cheese on it, my large piece of salmon in greenpepper sauce came with lots of broccoli and potatoes, the house wine was lovely, all served in an old-school atmosphere with linen tablecloths and great service. The prices feel to be a real bargain especially when you want a special meal and don't want to feel ripped off. What a find. I'll definitely be back.
