My Review

5 out of 10 stars

Two of us ate there on Saturday 29 May 2010. There were plenty of customers and we were hoping for a good meal. The fried hake had obviously been frozen - you could taste this, and the fish cakes were runny, the meals were served with boiled potatoes or chips, no green vegetables - that would have been extra. So it tasted and looked bland.

A person next to us sent her fish back as she said it had 'a funny taste'.

On the plus side the chilled bottle of pinot grigio - the second bottle because the first one had to be sent back as it was corked - was good.

The waiter was friendly and discreet.

We would never go back and would not recommend this restaurant.
