Miyama let us down this week after we held a birthday dinner there with family.
The service was slow and unattentive, and we had to ask several times for things once the restaurant got busy.
You will be fine if you get one of the senior waiters or waitresses, but if you are not a privileged regular, things are not great. We love their dobin-mushi and some of their dishes, but it has now become slightly less authentic and tailored to non-Japanese guests (we are Japanese) so we won't be going back!
