My review: Am I possibly a fool unto myself? My wife and I have eaten here more than once and kept thinking that things would change. No complaints about the food, or even the friendliness of the waiters. Unfortunately, the actual service is VERY slow. In addition, you have a petulant owner with a somewhat cavalier approach to customer service. The latest debacle over charging our credit card twice, then not refunding the money, despite promising on two separate occasions to do so, has convinced us never to eat here again. My review: I visited Mamma Rosa for the first time, when I was on business in South Wimbledon. Someone on the street recommended it for good Italian Fayre and I was most impressed. The food was very well presented and tasted delicious. The staff were very pleasant, but at the same time created a very warm atmosphere which you would expect from a good Italian Restaurant. My review: Finally a family run restaurant with real Italian food and real Italians. Loved the place, the food, the service and the owner Isabella which gave me a good understanding of Italian culture. I work in the city, lunch is pretty much in a restaurant, I asked Isabella maybe a Mamma rosa in the city? She replied I wish. I said me too. Comment added Wed 20 Dec 2006 at 23:16:24

My review: Mamma Rosa's restaurant was most definitely the worst restaurant I have had the misfortune to visit. If you enjoy going to restaurants, not getting what you ordered, in fact not get ANYTHING, with no apology and then to be told they are "very busy" and “what’s the problem, you haven’t been charged?” (for the meal that we never got, why thank you!!!) then I would definitely recommend it! It’s obviously a new trend to go to a restaurant make your order and not get it. But don’t worry everyone because it won’t be on your bill!!!! Very strange way to run an establishment if you ask me.
