First of all I'm amazed that anyone had a bad experiance here but if you did I would recommend you give it another chance. Tapas was the best I've had outside of Spain with good variety, great full flavours and very good service. The best thing about it was in value for money though. My girlfriend and I ordered quite a few dishes because we saw that the average price was about 4 quid per dish so expected them to be on the small size but when they arrived they were huge! Crazy as it sounds, I was in Spain over summer and couldn't get spanish food as good as this.

Carmen's staff were very pleasant and welcoming.This was the first time to a Spanish restaurant and we order their Spanish traditional dish paella and was very disappointed it was what i would call a risotto, the staff were very concerned that we were not happy and mad changes to the final bill maybe we are just fussy eaters.

I love this place..is very difficult to find an autentic spanish restaurant in London..the food is great , staff very fiendly and the wine selection is fantastic...
And now they even take credit cards.

Went here a while back and although I liked the "rustic" surroundings and down to earth atmosphere, I was a bit disappointed with the food. Maybe I'm being too fussy, but it was pretty basic and the sort of stuff I probably could have done myself at a push.
