They do free delivery which is great. Dishes are inexpensive by London standards. Enjoyed the tandoori lamb chops, the aubergine in garlic, and the Dal Tarkas. Would not order the saag ponir again because it was cheesy and tasted sugary to my taste. But I'll still order from here again and again.

I have Been to Notting hill Tandoori to eat in, and i have also ordered take-away from there, and i have to say that the service that i recieved from the staff was very poor service ,they can barley speak english, and the food is nasty ,you can tell a mile off that the ingreidients/vegatables are old ,far from fresh, i also noticed that they recycle the alchoal that has been left by customers, for new customers to drink, while they profit, we are left unaware because they do all that at the bar.

I think this is easily one of the best Indian restaurants around...definitely in Notting Hill. The food is always excellent and they are always very polite in there. I can't help but wonder if any of the negative comments on here are because people have confused this restaurant with another one! 9 out of 10

We booked a table at the restaurant on a Friday night and were surprised to find the place rather empty. It did not fill up during the course of the evening, although they did get a large number of takeaways. Service was good but the food was varied, with some dishes being excellent (chilli chicken, saag aloo) and others being bland (butter chicken, chicken rogan josh), although nothing was actually bad. They need to make more use of actual spices as they do not seem to use masala much, and this is a key ingredient for indian cuisine! However we were very impressed that the food was not filled to the brim with oil and colouring and therefore we felt the food was the healthiest we have ever experienced in an indian restaurant and i would certainly order from them again for this point alone if i am craving a curry. There is a long wait for food. I personally like this as it shows they cook the food from fresh - i get nervous when i am served my meal within minutes as i know it has come straight from a microwave! Overall i would recommend and would say if you have a preference for how your food is made then request it - i believe they would be very flexible as the food is made fresh and next time i will just ask them to add more of one thing or less of another.

Never felt compelled to write a review before, but had a takeaway delivered last night that was easily the worst I've ever had. Only saving grace was that it was so bad it was laughable - slow to arrive, prawn starter featured 2 prawns in a reasonably spiced, but otherwise flavourless sauce, followed by a few thin, dry pieces of chicken literally swimming in an oceans of an entirely bland sauce. Rice was cold. Perfectly terrible.

We would like to thank you and Mr. Khan of Notting Hill Tandoori for his attention and service - it's so refreshing to find someone who listens. We were two of us were so delighted to their wonderful menu especially have mixed Vegetable starter, Goan Chili King Prawn Starter, African Queen Fish, Chili Lamb Chunk and Sag Potato Paneer And lemon rice and cashew nut.

My conclusion is that the attentive staff, buzzing atmosphere, quality of food and reasonable prices equate to good value for money and a pleasant dining experience. I can find nothing which resembles the cause for concern expressed in the email we received.

We ate here on Valentines day and had an excellent meal. The service was extremely friendly, without being intrusive. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We were made to feel very welcome and will certainly be back!
