What I love the best about Chor Bizarre is the food and wine-pairing menu. Just loved the suggestions mentioned and upon trying, I actually felt it was the best idea to take on. The food is good especially the Dakshni crab cakes and prawn-tak-a-tak .  The place is a must visit for anyone who loves Indian food and a different kind of an ambiance to dine.

As an important aspect of my likings, my love for dissimilar thing with an edge has always been of prime importance. When it comes to dining out, finding something different was not easy until I discovered Chor Bizarre. From its name to the mismatched décor and the lovely food, it has everything I like. Feels like it is tailor-made dining for me… but for all those who love some spark and are bored of mundane places, this is a sure place for you to like. The food and the service are totally good and the overall experience is a fancy one!

Food was excellent.
Service however another matter.
Waited nearly an hour for them to tell us the bottle of drink we had ordered was not available - and they announced that whilst plonking a double the price replacement down on the table.

Without doubt, very tasty food, but the service, for a Mayfair Restaruant was very sub standard.

I first dined here 4 years ago and although the service and ambience were great, the taste and presentation of the food seemed unique and so memorable that I had since recommended this place to several family members and friends. Last week I was entertainmening a good friend for his birthday. I had booked the previous week and called on the day to ensure I would get a decent table. Though this was confirmed (they even had the name 'Sewing Machine' table) we were moved a few minutes after being seated for a party that did not have a reservation. We wouldn't have minded except there was no attempt at an apology or straightforwardness. Next the waiter needed to come back to confirm our starter orders and they brought the wrong dish out for one of our main courses. The food was simply not as well presented nor as tasty as I remembered, in fact some of the dishes looked and tasted quite ordinary. What left a lasting impression was the table move and service. For the prices being charged I expect more professionalism and will not recommend Chor Bizarre again.

We have been to this place twice and had a lovely meal both the times. The mango lassi must be tried. The maharaja thali has a good range of items on it. The methi-murg tikka is to die for. The portions are a bit small, but more than enough for one person. They have a good vegetarian menu as well. The waiters are friendly and service is quick. One can go with family and friends and relax.

I ate at the C.B. on 07/05 for the pre-theatre set menu. Initial impressions not good - booking could'nt be found and I was given the full ‘A la Carte’ menu. This led to an embarrassing interchange with the waiter. Alternative menu was found. Décor and furnishings are fantastic, staff friendly but disorganised. Food was poor. Starter was Pakora. Stingy in quantity/size retaining too much of the oil they were cooked in, too heavy. Main course sauce was runny but tasty, amount of chicken in the meal was, again, stingy. Sweet - not worth mentioning. Beware of the price of the drinks, they are big as the London Eye. My choice of words may appear harsh but they reflect my genuine opinion of C.B.
