we needed a kingsize bed did not know much abouts beds or what to look for,arrived at ats and started looking around and the manager of the store came over and asked if we needed any help,we told him what we wanted and he explained all the spring systems/and about memoryfoam .i must say this ,this manager knew exactly what he was saying ,non of this salesman talk,because i sell double glazing.he took 20 mins of our time and i must say he got us the right bed that we needed and i am well happy that i went to ats and i will recommend my friends and family to buy their from them.

With reagrds to the previous review of ATS. I have purchased several beds from this store and always found them to be most helpfull with a good range to choose from and offering free delivery and assembly of the beds when delivered which was an extra to be be paid for with the other retailers that i visited. Going back with a camcorder to do secret recording shouts ive got to much time on ones hands and can't wait for the next episode of Watchdog.
I would suggest having a measure of your lounge before ordering a sofa as when the 4 seater corner set arrives and doesn't fit i am sure this will be the sofa shops fault aswell.

I needed a bed urgently and ATS seemed very friendly and helpful. Aha! Paid, arranged delivery with the undertsanding of their Terms and Conditions number 11 on the back of the order form 'If the goods will not fit ATS will allow the customer to re-select to another product but will not offer a refund. ....'

Do not believe it!

The frame did not fit. So, I telephoned to ask for another product. I was referred to the owner who, after unhelpfulness, gave me an earful of abuse. I telephoned the shop - earful of abuse. I visited the shop, in Ballards Lane, with a cam-corder concealed but running on record. I asked politely that we should discuss the matter - I received abuse and an allegation that it was my fault I did not check the bed would not fit (debatable). I then revealed the cam corder, mentioned that I would contact the Office of Fair Trading, and proceeded to walk out. Sudden change of attitude, but not much. Very begrungingly, the shop assistant (manager) agreed to another delivery, but all the while being abusive and rude, always saying it was my fault (all captured on the cam corder!!!).

Was offered a much lesser quality alternative, costing £160 less, but NOT offered the difference!

Do not use this business. Although the young assistant who originally helped me was very helpful and polite, it became clear that the business's owner and shop manager were exceedingly rude, aggressive people.
