This has got to be the most unwelcoming and unpleasant newsagents ever. Narrow little aisle, barely room to queue up to pay - and when you get to the till, an extremely rude woman serving - and - the chocolate is always out of date! I wouldn't go back in there again. |

I have just today purchased 4 cream eggs from Confags. Having started to eat one and it tasting strange, I checked the date on the bottom: "Best before July 2007"!! Unfortunately, my daughter had already eaten 2 of them - all two and a half years out-of-date! This is the second time that I have purchased chocolate from this shop and it has been seriously past sell by date - I had forgotten about the previous occasion or I would have checked. This is completely unacceptable that this shop regularly sells out of date foodstuffs. I intend to report the shop to Barnet Council as I believe this shop to be putting people's health at risks and would just warn other customers to check the dates of any foodstuffs they buy from Confags. |
