However, before go and get all sticky, you might want to take a trip down to the urban greenery at the Southbank Centre, which might just soothe your garden fantasies.
The Southbank Roof Gardens were designed by The Eden Project to provide a green space in amongst the concrete mass of this cultural hub. So stroll up, take a seat on the grass and watch the Thames float by. But take note; the gardens close between winter and spring.
