Where: House of Illustration, 2 Granary Square N1C 4BH
The House of Illustration was founded in 2002 as a touring operation, exhibiting the works of some of the world’s greatest illustrators, such as Hokkusai, Ronald Searle and Quentin Blake (also a co-founder). After attracting ambassadors like the author Phillip Pulman and actress Joanna Lumley, the House of Illustration opened its first permanent venue in the summer of 2014. You’ll find it just off Granary Square, the new plaza by King’s Cross station that’s also home to a Central Saint Martins campus and a beautiful water feature.
