Where: Regent’s Canal
The Regent’s Canal is eight and a half miles long, so attempting to walk along its entirety in one go will require a fair bit of energy, nevertheless it’s worth doing, even if in different stages. Bear in mind that there are bits that are closed off so you have to leave the towpath and re-join it later, but it roughly runs from the Limehouse Basin in the Docklands, through Mile End, Hackney, De Beauvoir Town, King’s Cross, Camden, Primrose Hill, Little Venice, till it reaches Paddington. Popular places along the way include the Towpath Café in Dalston, Camley Street Natural Park by King’s Cross station, and Camden Lock Market.
