This must try is connected to: National Theatre

Theatre fans can now get one step closer to the action by visiting the Sherling High-level Walkway at the National Theatre. From here you can peer down onto the production area of the theatre, where a flurry of activity takes place every day: this is where the sets are built and all the props used on stage are made.

There’s also an exhibition detailing the production process and explaining what’s being built each day. You don’t need a ticket to a play to visit, as the walkway is open Monday to Sunday between 9.30 and 19.30, free of charge.
