Fill your home with neon

Should brighten things up...

Where: God’s Own Junkyard, Unit 12, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, E17 9HQ

If you needed further proof of Walthamstow’s arty credentials, here’s more. At God’s Own Junkyard you can pick up quirky neon lights, old film props from movies like Eyes Wide Shut and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, circus lighting, vintage signs and miscellaneous artworks salvaged and created by Chris Bracey.

Chris worked for none other than David LaChapelle, and this very shop has been featured in Vogue. Sadly he died of prostate cancer in 2014, but the shop and art space continue to be run by his three sons.
