If you think that the Oxford Street Christmas Lights were the pinnacle of illuminated festive fun then you’re dead wrong. Sure, they’re up there but they don’t even come close to the Syon Park Enchanted Woodland that sets up once a year for two weeks to treat the public with glimmering trees and pimped out shrubs.
Running from November 18th to December 4th on weekends only, tickets cost £9 for adults and £3 for children. The grounds of the amazing stately home are lit up with hundreds of lights, which turn the grounds into an atmospheric winter dreamland. Located in Brentford, it’s definitely a schlepp but just think, it’s not as far as taking your children to Lapland and it’s much cheaper. So… a no-brainer.
