Cocomaya fine chocolatier and artisan baker is set to launch a beautiful new pop up at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 this Easter.
Situated on the upper level, the 200 square foot shop will offer Cocomaya’s Vienna-style pastries, cakes, gourmet sandwiches, chocolate bars, boxes of truffles and chocolate covered fruit and nuts as well as a choice of hot and cold drinks. Mini cakes will make for the ideal sweet treat with a takeaway coffee for eating on-the-go. For those searching for the perfect last minute present, Cocomaya’s Around the World range will also be available at the shop. This is a unique collection of chocolate bars created using flavours from some of the world's most famous cities, including Amsterdam (liquorice and hemp), New York (sea-salt pretzel) and London (strawberries and cream).

Designed by Grapes Design, the space will feature rotating brands and provides the opportunity to bring smaller, artisan brands into the airport. Cocomaya will launch the space at the pop up shop and will run until the summer.

Cocomaya is the creation of two of London’s key players in fashion and lifestyle who have known each other for nearly two decades. Walid Al Damirji and Joel Bernstein share a love of fine chocolate and fabulous baking and have dedicated a business to it. Their first shop opened in Connaught Village in 2009, followed by a second shop in Sloane Square in December 2010 and a third on Brompton Road in 2011. Their aim is to create a beautiful and inspiring space in which to enjoy some of the finest chocolates, cakes and breads available in London.
