St Petersburg Gallery is proud to present an exhibition dedicated to the history of Russian ballet and theatre design. The Ballets Russes, set up by Serge Diaghilev in 1909, is one of the best-known ballet companies in history, due to its innovative collaborations between the leading choreographers, composers and artists of the day, such as Natalia Goncharova, Leon Bakst and Alexander Benois. This exhibition will showcase an extensive collection of the finest and rarest costume and stage set designs created by these visionaries. In addition, a range of Ballets Russes-inspired porcelain works will also be on display.
