The Spring Nubian Beauty and Wellbeing Event

A day to celebrate female health and beauty with workshops, art exhibitions, live performances of spoken word and music and stalls selling uplifting items to invigorate the mind body and soul. 

Workshops taking place during the day include:Delali Décor - Interior Design, She’s Royal Wraps: exploring the history of head wrapping in African traditions, The Ancestral Voices Documentary screening, Ancient to Modern African Beauty with make-up artist Christelle Kedi and The Nubian Nude Exhibition and Workshop with photographer Louise Sam.

Also during the day there will be a live graffiti wall by Onyinye – the money raised from the sale of this artwork will go to charity. There will be a guided meditation and sexual empowerment session from 9.30-10.30. This is open to women of all ages and abilities who would like to explore the benefits of meditation or help us to create a positive start to the event.
