FREE EXHIBITION OFFERS CHANCE TO SNAP UP EXCLUSIVE PRINTS BY LONDON’S EMERGING PHOTOGRAPHY TALENT!

A new generation of talented photographers are coming together to debut their work in a stunning boundary pushing exhibition at Kensington and Chelsea College.

‘Exposed’ is the culmination of a year’s work from students on the college’s BTEC National Diploma in Photography, and brings together an eclectic collection of work exploring a range of photographic concepts and styles.

Describing the show Bruce Tanner, Head of Photography at Kensington and Chelsea College said: “Finding an individual voice in a world so packed with images is one of the hardest things to do and this year’s students have really managed to achieve this. Presenting something different, they have needed to trawl back and forth through the history of photographic processes and combined this with modern digital techniques to produce a show that is stunning and inspiring.”

Among the styles of work being highlighted are fashion, documentary and fine art photography.

Many of the one-off pieces in the exhibition are also on sale, giving guests the chance to snap up exclusive prints produced by emerging new talent.

Kensington and Chelsea College has an outstanding photography department which gives students access to fully equipped studios and a state of the art digital suite, as well as a traditional darkroom, one of the few left In London.

Photography students at the college work on a range of projects including photo shoots with fashion graduates to photograph their end of year collections. The college’s innovative Photography Department was also widely featured in the national press after becoming the first in London to run a photography course for the iPhone called iPhonegraphy.
