Stratford Rising Festival - Welcome to the playground

Get ready for some big surprises as world-class artists transform Theatre Square at the heart of Stratford's cultural quarter into a giant pop-up playground this September. Laugh, dance, play, make, slide, eat, drink and enjoy. Shows, workshops, adventures, games and activities for grown-ups, little kids and your inner child. It's playtime!


A giant slide, built by award winning architects Assemble, will form the centre piece of an eclectic programme of free entertainment and activities for all the family. Presented by Stratford Rising and featuring brand new shows and installations from our partners, including Theatre Royal Stratford East, Stratford Circus, Discover, Rosetta Art Centre and East London Dance.
