Pure Fluke Theatre Company present new black comedy ‘Abandon’, a darkly delightful play about internet dating in Peckham, slyly referencing Dante’s Inferno. It is a twisted love story all about the journey of two sisters who venture across social media and dodgy dating websites to find Mr.Right, ending with a plot for devious online revenge.
Written by Carrie Byrne and Cathy Rosario. Directed by Natasha Markou, and premiering at Peckham’s CLF Arts Café.

Needs to decide what story it wanted to tell. The characters were all unlikeable and in the end the play is a confused jumbled mess. I was cringing in parts at how bad it was. No one asked me for a ticket, so not paying was the only consolation I have.

A beautifully written piece that's really poignant in today's society. There were some hilarious lines which punctuated the darker storyline and prompted lots of interesting discussion afterwards. It was really lovely to be able to see some new writing whilst enjoying a cake and a drink!

Funny and cheeky play about 2 Irish sisters behaving badly on thier quest for love in their late 30s. Their obsession with each other is very funny to watch as they struggle with the men in their lives. Lots of nice scenes like a creepy bonfire story and yoga class where the sisters get thrown out for squabbling.
