From the dramatic snow-capped mountains of Torres del Paine National Park in the South to the stunning, arid expanse of the Atacama Desert in the North, Chile offers a wealth of climates, landscapes and adventures just waiting to be discovered. Turismo Chile is offering a special insight into this diverse and welcoming country from Saturday 7 September until Sunday 15 September at the National Geographic Store in London.

Visitors can learn about the fascinating traditions of the Mapuche and other original cultures, see traditional handicrafts, dances and enjoy photography showcasing some of the country’s most stunning views and festivals. There will also be face painting for kids and for grownups, the chance to sample some of the exceptional wines produced in the temperate valleys surrounding the capital, Santiago and beyond.

Throughout the week at 2pm, experts will also be in-store to talk about what makes Chile and their regions in particular, such unique and special places to visit. On Monday and Tuesday, explore the translucent lakes, relaxing hot springs and dramatic volcanoes of Chile’s Araucania region while on Wednesday and Thursday, the talks will introduce the striking mountains and fjords of Magallanes, Chile’s southernmost region, home to playful dolphins and majestic whales.
