Also on the programme will be staples of flute repertoire, Debussy’s Syrinx and Poulenc’s Sonata.

Katherine made her concerto debut at the age of just 15, having won the prestigious Audi Music Competition, with the Orchestra of the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields London. She went on to win a full scholarship to study at the Juilliard School of Music, New York and has since performed as a soloist with a number of esteemed orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Halle, and Nurnberger Symphoniker.
