Yes Sir Boss:
In 2004 Matt Sellors (lead singer) started a 3-piece blues outfit named Sellors and the Scientists. All students of Dartington College of Arts they gained notoriety as an original and exciting new live act. Members came and went but the core stayed the same and after graduating the band moved to Bristol. It was only then that Yes Sir Boss was really born. YSB soon began to make its mark as one of Bristol's best live bands and signed to Joss Stones' label Stone'd Records in 2010. Armed with their début album Desperation State they sailed onto the festival circuit and began what was to become a long and wonderful journey into the fields and clubs of the UK and beyond.

Over 300 gigs later, Yes Sir Boss continues to cultivate truly original and inspiring music, captivating audiences with their energy at many of the UK and Europe's best festivals. Summer 2013 saw the departure of long standing guitarist Luke Potter and a period of transition as the band evolved their sound and worked on new material. Now reformed and revitalised as a 5 piece, Yes Sir Boss have a 2nd album ready to record that moves away from their Ska infused past and explores the more blues/rock element of their sound.

With one album out (Desperation State, 2012) Yes Sir Boss aim to impress their fans for a second time with their new album due for release Spring / Summer 2014. Further touring is planned for Germany, The Netherlands, France, Austria and Switzerland and Scandinavia. Their ambition grows daily and they remain one of the UK's most exciting new bands. They are a must see for anyone with a love of music and an appreciation for what it is to be a band.

with support from Solko, a 7 piece band with brass, bass, guitars, percussion blending an eclectic mix of reggae/dub rhythms with soulful vocals and melodic jazz horns.
