This years St Peter’s Prize winners are the Artesian Quartet, a dynamic young quartet formed at the Royal Academy of Music. Described as ‘an ensemble to watch out for now and in the future’ they return with a programme that includes Beethoven’s Op. 59, No. 2 (the second of the ‘Razumovsky’ quartets) and Bartok’s self described ‘funereal’ String Quartet No. 1.
