Guinea Pigs on Trial
By Sh!t Theatre

Sh!t Theatre have pretty good bodies. This show is about trying to sell them.
With pharmaceutical trials such as FLU CAMP being marketed to students and jobseekers as a way of making money, Sh!t Theatre ask – is ‘guinea pigging’ a good cure for an empty bank account?
For this brand new project, Sh!t Theatre share their ongoing efforts to sell themselves to medical science. Are their bodies worth as much money as they thought? Can you ever really trust a for-profit company? And when you say ‘regular use of recreational drugs’, how regular is that, exactly?

Using song, satire, spoken word, humour and movement, Sh!t Theatre’s new piece in development follows up their multi-award winning show Job Seekers Anonymous 2013.

Sh!t Theatre are Louise Mothersole and Rebecca Biscuit. They have been writing, performing and signing on together since 2010 and have shown original work nationally and internationally. They were recipients of the 2013 Total Theatre Emerging Company/Artist Award and an Arches Brick Award.

“Beautifully harmonised and, even better, mercilessly witty” The Scotsman review of Sh!t Theatre’s previous show
