Meet The Composer: Douglas Dare
an Erased Tapes Music series

Erased Tapes is home to some of today's most inspiring contemporary composers including Nils Frahm, Peter Broderick and Ólafur Arnalds. Focusing on avant-garde music, the thriving record and publishing company is widely known for its eclectic and yet highly distinctive sound.

The first composer to feature in this exciting new series is London-based singer-songwriter Douglas Dare, originally from the coastal town of Bridport. This intimate evening will see Douglas read from his newly published lyric book Nine Poems, containing poems and short prose on the theme of unrest. With the piano at the core, he will recite the songs that form his highly anticipated debut album Whelm – to be released on May 12th.

Every member of the audience will receive a free copy of Nine Poems.
