Sculpture Exhibition

London based artist whose career as an engineer and designer has been diverted towards sculpture. This exhibition marks a crossroads for the artist who seeks to devote his time to art installations and private commissions.

Inspired by a project to design a lighting scheme for a private house Joss offered to make a custom fitting. This opportunity led to the creation of an illuminated Mobius strip, a ribbon of sheet plastic with embedded LED lights on its single edge. Taking 3 months to design and build Joss became energised to build a collection. This exhibition shows for the first time his 'Ribbon' collection fabricated in the same methods as the Mobius strip. Joss has designed and build another 16 lighting sculptures for this exhibition, all using tape LED as the raw material. An essay in creativity this exhibition represents a rare chance to view sculptures based on lighting.
