4th Annual University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY)

The award-winning University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) annual competition is back this spring on 5th April 2014! Hosted by the MOBO award winning Rachel Kerr and now celebrating it's fourth anniversary, the competition will once again showcase the best and brightest of the UK’s university gospel scene. Taking place at the Old Carlton Cinema, Islington, this year's event is shaping up to be our best show yet!
Following the success of the past 3 shows, UGCY is proud to continue to provide a unique platform for university gospel choirs to showcase their talent on a national scale.

Backed by the Mayor of London and other influential MPs at it's inception and with achievements such as the X-Factor and the BBC Proms under it's belt, this year 8 finalist universities will battle it out to be named UGCY champions 2014 in a Sister Act 2 inspired competition.

Perfect for the whole family - both young and old, join us for a night of gospel sounds in the heart of North London, guaranteed to leave you uplifted and inspired.
