To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the current Lord’s Ground, a specially selected MCC team will play Hertfordshire CCC in a 50-over match. This will be a repeat of the first ever fixture played at the Ground, exactly 200 years on to the day.

The MCC side will include some big names from the world of cricket, and as part of the day, MCC will be throwing open the doors of its Victorian Pavilion to the general public for the first time since 1966. This is a rare chance to see behind the scenes of one of the most famous buildings in world sport, usually reserved for MCC Members only.

The Club will provide special tours of the Ground, themed food and drink offerings, music from local community groups and various cricket displays around the Ground – all this in addition to the action on the field!
