No Nights Dark Enough

City of London Sinfonia embraces darkness and melancholy with a John Dowland-inspired programme that flows from Scanner’s Associate Artist series in 2012. Beginning with Dowland’s own melancholic Flow My Tears, and moving to the stark beauty of works by Thomas Adès and Arvo Pärt, they conclude with a world premiere from Icelandic musician and founder of Bedroom Community, Valgeir Sigurðsson.
