Seavaigers

Rugged landscapes and turbulent seascapes – in a series of new works and folk-infused re-imaginings, the Scottish Ensemble finds fresh perspectives on Scottish music. Taking musical traditions in a new direction, the centrepiece is a new set of Scottish Variations on the folk tune Tullochgorum, accompanied by concertos from JS Bach and Sally Beamish in which folk instrumentalists Chris Stout and Catriona McKay take the lead.
