PRESS PLAY – ‘FILM IS ART’

WHAT: A FUSION OF FILM AND LIVE ART IN A NEW CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE

Press Play bring an innovative and interactive event sees the creation of a new form of film interpretation combining live art and immersive production with intimate screenings of cult films followed by an after party with special guest DJs.

The first screening will be of Quentin Tarantino classic, Kill Bill Vol 1 and will run from 3rd April – 6th April every night for 120 people. To help screen this film like you have never seen before they have partnered up with The Outside Collective and the creative production team that brought you Red Sky London.

The Hoxton Arches will be transformed from a minimal, brick walled space into a detailed film set through creative art installations. To heighten all of the human senses, everything you do, smell, touch and hear will replicate the film. Fresh sushi will be on offer to make and munch courtesy of Sushi-Kai, along with plenty of drinks from the bespoke 'Pussy Wagon Bar' run by event partners Izettle.

Special guest DJs will kick off the after party every night and we welcome the return of the AudioBully’s on the Saturday night who will no doubt provide a serious 'Bang Bang'. Opportunities to create your own artwork alongside the professionals will be on offer amongst an atmosphere to drink, dance and mingle with friends and guests.

Uber are offering first time app users a £20 free cab ride to or from the event so make sure you arrive in style. Tickets are on sale now for £15-20 so get involved!
