Challenge yourself to a journey into history!
Are you looking for the adventure of a lifetime? Sign up to trek Great Wall of China and experience the wonders of ancient and modern China in aid of the Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead.
Trekkers will explore the section of the wall built in the 15th Century by the Ming Dynasty, which UNESCO describes as ‘a masterpiece…not only because of the ambitious character of the undertaking but also the perfection of its construction’. They will then descend onto the local trails of Hebei Province, passing through rural villages before returning to Beijing to experience the sights and sounds of modern China, including Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace.
Tempted? Come along to our Information Evening, 30th April, 7pm at Marie Curie Hospice, 11 Lyndhurst Gardens, London, NW3 5NS. Contact [email protected] for more details.
“I achieved everything I thought I would and much more. I have met the most amazing people, and reached personal goals and aspirations I only could have dreamed of. I would strongly recommend that everyone has an experience like this at least once in their lifetime” – previous trekker.
