“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”
― Rumi

The first of a new series of events fusing Arabic and eastern influences in contemporary Bass Music

Manchester pioneering producer and peace activist, Celt Islam, brings transnational dubstep / dub / electronica with a twist of the Orient, to inSpiral in the heart of Camden.
Celt Islam is an English Muslim, a Sufi and a member of the northern British alternative dub/ breaks outfit “Nine Invisibles” and “Analogue Fakir”. Celt-Islam uses a fusion of music from Dub/Electro/Drum andBass and collaborates it with Islamic/world grooves to create a Dub driven dance crossover.

Slackbaba’s individual style combines Bass with full tribal stompers and delivers a cross-boundary hybrid grooves with impunity. His music draws the listener through a labyrinth of pulsing rhythms and mind-bending sonic states, demonstrating his skills in sound manipulation and delivering a new take on psychedelic electronica. With his latest album ‘aşk’, he now has 3 album releases with Liquid-Records and several releases on worldwide compilations.

Aliji is a prime example of the archetypal dj – a musical chameleon who cannot be pinned down to the restrictive framework of a single genre, but has a particular love of techno and cosmic bass music. As well as being artist in residence at inSpiral and Elixir Of Life in London he is a well known DJ on the International festival circuit.
