Live Music in Verdi - Fobo Jug Band

The FoBo Jug Band is a London-based acoustic trio that plays country blues and barrelhouse ragtime that is guaranteed to get your feet stomping!

The group employ a range of modern and traditional American folk instruments (guitars, piano, harmonica, washboard and kazoo) to capture the music of an era which laid the foundations for some of the greatest sounds of the 20th century.

With a stonking set of classics by the likes of Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzie and Leroy Carr, The FoBo Jug Band brings a unique and authentic voice to its repertoire, which paradoxically, makes the material sound as fresh and potent as it does timeless and credible.
